Indonesian Martabak MBI @ Waroeng Oma, Sunway Mentari
Unknown6:31 AM 1 comments

It is hard to find a good Indonesian restaurant in Malaysia serving really authentic Indonesian food. Little did I know, despite staying at Subang Jaya for more than 10 years, I didn't know there is a cafe catering Indonesian food in Sunway Mentari. That very restaurant is called Waroeng Oma But let's leave the restaurant's review for another post but focus on this martabak manis dessert. Martabak MBI is a small stall located inside Waroeng Oma selling a type of Indonesian dessert called martabak manis. I never really been to Indonesia for their authentic martabak before but I do have several ones back in Johor so let's just see how MBI's martabak match up to them.

Dai Ban Noodles @ Damansara Uptown
Unknown10:15 AM 0 comments

Damansara Uptown has quite a number of restaurants and cafe nearby. Most of it are just decent enough for a quick meal. However, I rarely frequent that place so I wouldn't know too much either. One of the main reason on why I seldom frequent that particular place is the horrendous traffic jam within that area. Still not as terrible as Taipan USJ though. But anyway, I decided to pay a visit to this restaurant with a couple of food bloggers friends and see if there is any more good restaurants around this area that worth the traffic jam. Dai Ban Noodles was the name of the place and I had passed this restaurant a couple of times before and each time I saw some decent crowds in it. Probably best to give it a try as well.

Xiao Lao Wang Hotpot @ Sungai Buloh New Village
Caroline3:49 AM 0 comments

This post actually very long overdue but due to my hectic workload for the past months, I was unable to blog about this. But better late than never right? Xiao Lao Wang Hotpot Restaurant was just recently opened about 2 months ago? I always enjoyed having a Hotpot session or steamboat session with a bunch of friends.  But it is very much a hassle to actually make the whole hotpot or steamboat session on your own. Sure enough, the dining experience is always warm and friendly, but preparing and cleaning up afterwards is usually a turn off especially for me.
